What makes the MKIII so much better than its competitors? The Superformance MK3 is the only Cobra replica built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. and this one is one incredible build.

Holley Motorsports bought this Titanium Silver with Black Stripe MK3 from a long time friend and fellow club member that was a meticulous caretaker from new. With 48,000 miles and is incredible condition, drives like a new Cobra and has an appearance to match. The underside is as clean as the top. This car is Chassis SPO1176 with a Ford Motorsport 392 Cubic Inch engine and at 25k miles on the engine the owner had an upgrade rebuild in 2007 by Olthoff Racing which made 440HP at the rear wheels with 475 Ft. Lbs of torque (Dyno sheet and Otlhoff rebuild receipt with car). Olthoff also installed an upgraded TKO600 5 speed transmission with 3:31 Ring and Pinion. This car comes with, Tonneau cover, soft top and side curtains, Silver Ceramic coated headers, Silver Ceramic Coated Headers, and Cobra Valley adjustable QA1 Coil over package.  It sports 15″ original style Halibrand knock off wheels with Mickey Thompson ST radial tires, and Willwood Brakes. It has a high performance aluminum radiator with two thermostatically controlled fans, an original spec oil cooler, and brand new seat belts and harnesses.

The owner was very particular about safety and performance as shown in the options/upgrades below;

Cobra Valley rear shock mounts, Cobra Valley custom valved QA1adjustable shocks and spring package, Cobra Valley performance Sway bars front and rear, Cobra Valley geometry correcting ball joints, Cobra Valley high intensity headlights, Cobra Valley 100amp chrome alternator, Kirkam steel CNC wheel nuts and Olthoff rock/bug screens for radiator and oil cooler.

The interior has hand made seats upholstered in German leather specified by the factory, fully carpeted floor, sides, center console and rear firewall. All MK3’s have a period correct SC dash that houses Smith instrument gauges, Lucas toggle switches and a 180 mph reverse speedometer.

We always do a very thorough technical inspection and often replace many used parts with new and this car has many new parts and has had a very high end detail inside and out. This car drives as nice today as it did the day it was new. My wife and I do many cruises with the Superformance Owners Group (SCOF) and the owner of this car did many of these cruises with us over the last 15 years so I personally know this car well and would not hesitate to take a cross country trip in it! While the car may have 48k miles on the odometer with all of the upgrades done in the last 25k miles it truly is ready to roll. It also has a leather bound Superformance owners manual, wiring diagram, 6lbs lead hammer and an aluminum case full of supporting documents.
